Enhance your Irus system with the Irus LeakDetect module.
Irus LeakDetect adds another layer of insight, protection, and control to your property.
Fully integrated with the Irus Portal, it provides intelligent leak detection, instant alerts, and automatic water isolation, preventing damage, reducing maintenance costs, and safeguarding both buildings and residents.
Utilising the existing Irus infrastructure, the system detects moisture or water ingress via Leak Detection Sensors (LDS) or Leak Detection Tape (LDT), connected to a Leak Detection Control Unit (LDCU) which in turn communicates with the Irus Portal.
When a leak is verified, Automatic Shut-Off Valves (ASOVs) can be activated remotely to isolate the affected area and prevent further damage. Simultaneously, SMS and email alerts are sent to assigned personnel, ensuring a rapid response.
What additional equipment is required?
Depending on the complexity of the site, your installation may include:
Leak Detection Sensor (LDS)
Leak Detection Tape (LDT)
Leak Detection Control Unit (LDCU)
Automatic Shut-Off Valve (ASOV)
How does LeakDetect respond.
LeakDetect offers flexible response options, allowing choice for the level of control your site requires:
• Alert Only –
Receive instant notifications (SMS/Email) for manual investigation.
• Riser Shut-Off –
Automatically isolate a riser to contain the issue.
• Specific Area Shut-Off –
Targeted isolation for maximum protection and minimal disruption.
What does Optimiser+ LeakDetect tell you?
Optimiser+LeakDetect analyses and displays data. It shows performance, identifies current issues, and highlights potential problems.
Graphs and tables present the percentage of areas or equipment in the spotlight, both recently and historically. Unusual consumption and manual interventions are also highlighted.
To distinguish between “Areas for concern” and “Good” performance, the number of areas or devices affected, are displayed in red or green panels respectively.
Optimiser also provides guidance information for quick fixes. Immediate action will improve performance and ensure your system is running efficiently.
Data analysed includes:
- Leaks
- Valve test failure
- Local override
- Remote override
- Supply isolated by system
- Communications faults
An information panel explains:
- What each panel represents
- What “good” looks like
- How to access more information
