Enhance your Irus system with the Irus HobSensus module.
Irus HobSensus adds a new level of monitoring, remote control, and safety to your property.
Fully integrated with the Irus Portal, HobSensus is installed above the hob and senses when temperatures on the cooking surface are approaching dangerous levels. The system automatically alerts operators to triggers. When the sensor detects high temperatures it instructs the Power Switching Unit to cut the power to the hob, rendering the kitchen safe.
The sensor is continuously transmitting data to the Irus Portal, providing real-time insight across the entire site.

What does HobSensus report.
HobSensus primarily watches the cooking surface, however integration with Irus enables a range of other information to be accessed remotely on the Portal from the kitchen.

Optimiser+ Optimiser+HobSensus analyses and displays data. It shows performance, identifies current issues, and highlights potential problems.
Graphs and tables present the percentage of kitchens or equipment in the spotlight, both recently and historically. Unusual consumption and manual interventions are also highlighted.
To distinguish between “Areas for concern” and “Good” performance, the number of kitchens or devices affected, are displayed in red or green panels respectively.
Optimiser also provides guidance information for quick fixes. Immediate action will improve performance and ensure your system is running efficiently.
