Water wastage and temperature monitoring

PipeSense prevents unnecessary consumption of water in multi-occupancy dwellings such as student accommodation, PBSA, built to rent, co-living or hotel properties. If left unchecked, dripping taps and faulty cisterns are major contributors to significant water wastage. Remote temperature monitoring takes the legwork out of water safety testing.
PipeSense
– To detect flow of water

The differential in temperature registered by the two sensors in the PipeSense unit signifies flow of water through a pipe, as little as five litres per hour can be detected.

PipeSense
– To monitor water temperature

When connected to a sink PipeSense can detect dripping taps but also automatically records water temperature in both hot and cold supplies. This data is fed back to the portal providing remote logging of water temperature and flow.

PipeSense is linked to the nearest ControlSensor via Bluetooth. In turn the ControlSensor sends the data back to the Irus Portal, where temperature, flow and number of flushes are recorded. Reports can be raised for individual rooms, flats, floors or blocks to monitor high users of water.

Book a call to hear how PipeSense will reduce water use.
